Shipping, Delivery & Settlement Policy

1. Dual-Mode B2B Fulfillment Architecture

MediDeals® supports two transparent fulfillment modes for every vendor sub-order:

  • Choice A — MediDeals® Coordinated Logistics (Shiprocket): Sellers can generate live B2B courier consignments directly from their Seller Order console across leading logistics partners (Delhivery, Blue Dart, Xpressbees, Ecom Express, DTDC) at actual third-party carrier rates with zero platform markup.
  • ChoiceB — Vendor Self-Ship / Direct Supply Chain: Sellers may dispatch orders using their own local delivery staff, regional transport agency, or established pharmaceutical courier, and record the Transporter Name, LR/Docket/AWB Number, and Tracking Link on the sub-order.

2. Dispatch Timelines & Real-Time Notifications

Once the buyer's 10% advance commitment is confirmed, the sub-order is immediately routed to the seller for fulfillment. Standard B2B dispatch turnaround is 24 to 48 business hours. Both buyers and sellers receive real-time In-App and Email Notifications at every stage:

  • Order Placed & 10% Advance Escrow Confirmed
  • Vendor Sub-Order Received & Stock/Shortage Verification
  • Consignment Dispatched with Courier Name, AWB/Docket Number & Live Tracking URL
  • Consignment Delivered & Daily Vendor Payout Report Generated

3. COD Collection (90%) & Vendor Escrow Settlement (9%)

  • 90% Balance Payable on Delivery: All carrier consignments are booked for the remaining 90% invoice balance as Cash on Delivery (COD) / delivery settlement.
  • 1% Platform Fee & 0.5% Statutory GST TCS: From the 10% advance collected in escrow, MediDeals® deducts a flat 1% platform trade fee and applicable statutory GST Tax Collected at Source (TCS @ 0.50%), releasing the net 8.50%–9.00% advance payout to the vendor upon verified delivery confirmation.

4. Packaging & Statutory Documentation

All shipments must be accompanied by a valid GST Tax Invoice / Delivery Challan displaying the buyer's and seller's Drug Licence numbers, GSTIN, product batch numbers, manufacturing dates, expiry dates, and HSN codes in accordance with the Drugs and Cosmetics Rules, 1945.
